2 / Who is sponsoring Kiwanis Club?
Oakland Kiwanis Club is our sponsoring Kiwanis Club. If you want more information about this question, ask a fellow officer or advisor any time.
4 / What is our minor emphasis?
Children's fund which provides essentials to kids in need so they can survive, thrive & focus on being kids. They provide scholarships and leadership training to college and high school students as well as grant funding to our Kiwanis clubs and children's hospitals; and through our Pediatric Trauma Program.
6 / What are dues and what are the benefits?
Dues are an annual membership payment to become an official member of KIWIN’S. Our dues cost $15! You should pay your dues to attend district events like Fall Rally, Kiwifest, and District Convention! Paying your dues also helps qualify you to apply for scholarships, positions in KIWIN’S in all levels, and get your service hours tracked!

Oakland High School KIWIN'S is a part of the Jade Division which includes Hercules High, Making Waves Academy, Pinole Valley High and Richmond High.
3 / What is our major emphasis?
Live to learn is dedicated to promoting literacy skills to children 5-9. Live 2 Learn's main focus is to put our students first hand servicing children.
5 / What is our governor's project?
Our governors project is the Challenged Athletes Foundation. Challenged Athletes Foundation is a non-profit devoted to empowering individuals with physical challenges through sports. They have provided 52,000 grants and raised $191M for athletes.
